About TLC - The Lenertz Company & Home Watch
The Lenertz Company, or TLC if you prefer, was originally billed in 1987 as "Michelle and Brad's Great Adventure!" This adventure has taken them down the path of living in 3 states, Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Moving within those 3 states they have owned 6 homes, building one from the ground up. Their experience in building a home educated them on the building process, the “guts” of how the home runs, what to watch for, and what to do when issues arise. Moving to the lakes area of Alexandria in 2014, Michelle became involved with Douglas County Habitat For Humanity. Participating in several "Habitat Builds" herself, she has also led a team and has worked with the "Women Build" program since 2018. Michelle believes every person deserves a home to live in, and have that home be their sanctuary. Protecting this vital investment is why she decided that a profession in home watch fits well with her personal beliefs. With Michelle having earned Accreditation from National Home Watch Association, and having your best interests in mind, you will enjoy the peace of mind, knowing your home is being watched with tender loving care while you are way.

Michelle & Brad
Michelle's professional career as a Corporate Travel Agent positioned her well, as it drew out her attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure her clients never missed an important business meeting. As their family grew, Michelle's organizational skills shifted in focus as she took on various career opportunities that include supporting an independent singer/songwriter and recording artist as a Personal Assistant and Tour Manager, serving as a Receptionist/Human Resources Assistant, and serving women of all ages for over 20 years as a Mary Kay Consultant. Perhaps the most influential and rewarding role she holds is that of CEO-Chief Everything Officer-for the Lenertz family.
Healthcare administration has carried Michelle's husband, Brad, professionally through the years. He has a passion for strengthening the health and well-being of the community where they live.
Now, as empty nesters, the Lenertz's enjoy the opportunity to travel and spending time with their extended Lenertz family who live in Eastern Wisconsin.
Both Michelle & Brad love being active in, and serving, their community. Outside of his role in healthcare administration, Brad is active with the local Lions Club and serves on the local Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Michelle is active with the Women Build Team and Sparkle and Shine Team for the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. They love boating on the lakes in the summertime, spending time with family/friends, attending concerts and plays. Michelle's hobbies include card making, home decorating and stain glass art.
